Do you have a question about this home or the local area?

Arriving at this home by the long, tree-lined driveway is an experience in itself. These converted farm buildings balance the traditional structure with high-end amenities perfectly, and the result is a home that will keep you enchanted for weeks. In the summer, roam around the huge gardens, swim in the nearby stream, or even arrange to go fly fishing with the host, Henry. At night, the lack of light pollution is remarkable, and the stars shine beautifully - we suggest mugs of hot chocolate on the terrace while seeing if you can spot the constellations. For colder days, there’s the snooker table and a well-stocked library. There’s also a lovely wood-burning stove and underfloor heating, which will keep you nice and cosy in the winter. Still not relaxed? There are deep soaking tubs, or for an extra special treat, book a private massage.

Home truths

While there are two single beds on the mezzanine level, the steep stairs mean that these aren’t suitable for children

The bedrooms are split between the main barn and the stable block

Fly-fishing and massages come at an extra cost and can be arranged with the owner

Watch out on the library ladders - they are quite steep

Great Yarmouth enjoys the best of both worlds where a long beach provides days of paddling in the shallows and wandering the promenade, ice-cream in hand. It also acts as the jumping-off point for boat trips puttering into the wildlife-filled Broads. Further...
